@streakmachine It's never to late, it's not Easter yet! I made maybe too many, two days of cornucopia, and there are still a few left.
@larand We think they are Swedish in origin, from Värmland ? They are great anyhow. And we have many more varieties. Up here in Lapland we have Gáhkku and Habberbröd.

@matigo Had to look them up. No, our buns are with cardamom, and we fill them with almond paste and whipped cream. Eat them preferably with hot milk.
@indigo I agree. Never thought that much on it before you asked. But looking at recipes I see that there are much more variation than I first believed. Why can't people stick to the one true recipe? ;-)
@indigo Yes, studies on our gut microbiome is a very interesting field. Just scratched the surface yet.
And I suppose there will be more surprises like that in the years to come. We are complex.
