@tellingtales We have seen the same phenomenon here also. Very warm, with short bursts of cold. About 1/2 normal snow depth at my parents home in Lapland.

I have never used the tunnel under the channel, it must be very convenient? Much quicker than it used to be when there was only ferrys.

@indigo Indeed, why should you. Nobody knows what it eventually will be like. Much can still happen, and it will probably be long negotiations. Hope reason will prevail.
Can't help thinking all this brexit business was quite unnecessary.
@indigo Yes of course! Lots of good choices there! As we discussed earlier, I wouldn't mind somewhere on the isles (Isle of Man to Lewis) or Scotland. But outside EU? Not as attractive.
