Yes, having one egg for Kardemummabullar is not uncommon, but for Cinnamonbuns, I haven't seen any recipe with eggs. When I asked around all said no eggs.

I don't have favourite recipe, we just make sure there plenty of butter, and cinnamon and sugar to taste. Mine are a bit easier on sugar, but that's me. Now that you mention them, I realise that it was quite a while since we made any. Well, maybe next week, after shrove Tuesday :)

We only whip an egg and "paint" them before we put them in the oven, so they get a nice surface.
